After releasing "Resentment" (including a Lamont remix) and publishing his "I.A.N.A." on Top Billin Music - plus several tracks including URL collective DRIFT KINGS, Club Late Music and a Underworld - Born Slippy Free DL Edit on Insert, the Italian producer based in London (but raised in Tuscany) returns in business with "Wrinkles", a 2 track EP featuring Uk Hip Hop London pioneer Parallax.
For this EP He journeys into Uk Bass, Grime, Afro vibes and Industrial Techno sound, evolving his sound into something definitely more suitable for a dancefloor, leaving aside his experimental verve and highlighting his Progressive / Techno background melted with Bass music. Joining him on ‘Wrinkles’, is East London based MC & producer Parallax, a hard-hitting UK Hip Hop artist recognized by the likes of Raekwon, Mr Scruff & Guilty Simpson. After listening to his conscious lyrical genius & addictive flow on this Techno / Bass music track, it is no surprise to us that he has supported big names like GZA, Lord finesse & Dead Prez.
This EP tracklist then is completed with 2 special remixes: London-based electronic musician and Planet Mu / Sneaker Social Club affiliate Anthoney J Hart aka Basic Rhythm brings his unique “Hi-Tek Sound” revamping “Wrinkles” while BBS owner Benton drops a sick UK hardcore reinterpretation of Soreab’s UK Bass craziness in “Watchme”
BMR022 aka Soreab’s “Wrinkles” will be officially out in 10” vinyl and digital format on December 12th, 2019, preorder available on November 19th via Beat Machine Records’ Official Bandcamp Page - available in all the digital stores & streaming on January 24th, 2020.
So stoked to finally get Swandive on vinyl - Shout out to Astrophonica. Looking forward to Sully b2b set with Coco Bryce at Rumble in the Jungle in Bournemouth this weekend. Just know! Beans696
Everything about this release from the cheeky label name and catalogue symbol, to the minimalistic design of the sticker to the music itself is awesome. Then again who could expect less from the Om Unit + Sam Binga duo? Love the diversity of sounds on this as well. Alegria
