Beat Machine’s first release of 2018 is here: leaving behind a frenetic and great second part of 2017, the italian label based in Milan is ready to pursue its aesthetic journey settled with Big Hands’ “Arcane Mosaics”, in between post grime, techno and Bristol Sound, with Dario Picchi aka Soreab debut release.
Native from Tuscany, but settled since years in London, part of Sobborghi Crew (a party which takes place in Dalston) and member of URL collective Drift Kings (with his friend Big Hands) Soreab will start his 2018 with “Resentment”, 5 original-proper-dancefloor-anthems which are the result of a personal un-and-down path where Music and musical production were an outlet for him:
“I’ve produced “Resentment”during a bad period for me: I was angry, disappointed, I needed to shake off tension and bad feelings forgetting reality and problems, even just for few hours. Music and productions were my moment of freedom, every single track from this EP is inspired by a person met during those months. I personally feel “Resentment” like a little step through my musical vision, changing everyday and moving in between my personal heritage, based on techno, dubstep, grime and broken beats, and what I pick up during my musical researches, from Gage to Jam City passing through Ikonika and the legendary T.Williams.”
“Resentment” will be completed by a remix signed by Lamont: the Swamp81 member (with Loefah Boddika and Paleman - just to name fews), Durkle Disco curator -alongside Zed Bias- and Keysound Recordings mainstay native from Bristol puts his hands on“Bifle” giving us a proper stylish and effective gem, an obscure journey to the sound made famous by names like Ramadanman, Joy Orbison,Addison Grove and Martyn built.
“Resentment”will be officially out on Beat Machine Records’Bandcamp Page in vinyl 12” / digital on 22nd February 2017 - available in all the digital stores & in streaming on 26th February 2018.
